Mayor Gutierrez will share updates on the City of Bryan’s growth, infrastructure priorities, and how leadership is navigating rapid development across the region.

Ginger Carrabine – Superintendent, Bryan ISD
Hear how Bryan ISD is planning for future student growth, workforce development, and the role education plays in supporting a thriving housing market.

Doug Lyles – Executive Director of Business & Customer Operations, Bryan Texas Utilities (BTU)

The Greater Brazos Valley Builders Association’s Community Update Brunch brings together local leaders, builders, developers, and business professionals for an inside look at the projects and progress shaping our region.

This engaging event offers a unique opportunity to hear directly from city and county officials, planners, and industry experts as they share updates on growth, infrastructure, housing, and development across the Brazos Valley.

Join us for a morning of great food, networking, and valuable insight — where collaboration meets community and you’ll gain the inside scoop on what’s next for our area’s future.

The Breakfast / Brunch will be held at the Phillips Event Center at Briarcrest. 

About Phillips Events Center

The Phillips Event Center boasts a rich history in the Brazos Valley, hosting countless events and welcoming guests from all over the world.

First opened in 1971, our beautiful 18-hole championship golf course also has a storied past. Having been designed by renowned course architect Dr. Marvin H. Ferguson, the City Course is the best golfing experience in the area.

The Phillips Event Center includes 7.27 acres of land, 26,500 square-feet of event space, six tennis courts, and two auxiliary buildings. The facility consists of the golf shop, 1929 Eats & Drinks, an outdoor patio, wrap-around balcony, kitchens, banquet/meeting space and office areas.
